LOVE SELFLESSLY - By Pastor David Okoye

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". John 3:16

Oh!! How inspiring this scripture has been to so many around the world, knowing that there exists a God that is not reluctant or hesitant to give them His best based on the magnitude of love He has for them. This love is what propelled him to give, not the other way round. The value of a thing is seen in the price paid for it, which reveals to us how valuable we are to God.



The Bible admonishes us to imitate Christ, this should be seen in everything that concerns us, from loving him deeply, down to the way we express love to those around us. It is important that our love goes beyond verbal declaration to its being expressed in our actions. The love of man is fickle but God's love is selfless as ours should be also.

Strive today to love genuinely irrespective of class, status, or even preferential treatment. Become a love slave today, for in that way you are becoming like your father.

Declaration
I am a love slave; I live my life as an outstretched arm of God's love to the world.
