"God will always take you through the wilderness to get you to the Promised Land..." - Pastor David Okoye

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32

It’s often said that if a man can understand the pain, he can know how to celebrate the gain. If you've not experienced the bad, you won’t be able to fully appreciate the good.

The pain you go through magnifies the joy you experience, for your light afflictions are equivalent to eternal glory. In our walk with God, he trains and prunes us for the field. And because the periods of training are often uncomfortable, many grumble in it and despise the process. God will always take you through the wilderness to get you to the Promised Land but it’s important that in your place of pain (training) you have the right mentality and the right heart.

This was the reason why in the days of old, many of the children of Israel couldn't enter the Promised Land. In their place of training, they murmured against God and his prophet.

Learn from their experience, never let words of negativity come out from your mouth especially in your place of training instead build your faith and seek to be trained. Only trained soldiers are sent to war, only trained sons are trusted to rule.

DECLARATION:
I appreciate every process of training I pass through because I know that for my light affliction I receive a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
