James Bond actor Richard Kiel dies aged 74
Actor Richard Kiel – best known for playing James Bond adversary Jaws in two of 007’s big screen adventures – has died aged 74.
According to reports the 7ft 2 inch star passed away at St Agnes hospital in Fresno, California, on Wednesday, although the cause of his death was not revealed.
Kiel had been in hospital after breaking his leg last week, although it is not known whether the injury had any connection to his death.
The actor, who was born in Detroit, originally worked as a nightclub bouncer before making the move in to movies in the 1960s, notching up a string of film and TV appearances while holding down other jobs.
