Breaking: A British man has died of Ebola

Reports that a British man has died of Ebola in Macedonia are under investigation by the Foreign Office.
He died at the clinic of Infectious Disease in Skopje, Macedonian officials – who asked to remain anonymous – told Reuters.

They also claim that a second Briton has shown symptoms of the virus.

When admitted to the hospital the patient was unable to communicate, Macedonian station Alfa TV reported.

A spokesperson for the Foreign Office said: ‘We are aware of the reports and are urgently looking into them.’

If confirmed, it would be the first death of a UK national from Ebola.
