A photo has emerged showing a toddler kicking the severed head of a dead soldier in Syria while its father smiles in delight.

The horrifying image, which appeared on social media this week, shows the small child being held up by its father – believed to be a supporter of Isis – with its leg raised to kick the head of the soldier.
The bearded man grins while another man, wearing three-quarter-length jeans, also watches.

The horrifying kick photo comes just days after a photos was posted of a decapitated soldier in Raqqa

The severed head, which is too graphic to show, has a deep gash in it -suggesting it has been mutilated – while the features are hard to make out due to the decomposition of the face.

The release of the image comes just hours after a Syrian activist group operating in Raqqa published photos of Isis’ latest atrocity in their proclaimed capital.

The photo shows a Syrian rebel who was crucified and beheaded tied to a wooden gallows with young boys standing around.
