The actor, who has paid his dues in the movie industry since making his first appearance in the industry some years ago, will represent the people of Surulere in the House.
He got the ticket at the expense of the incumbent and two-term member of the House, Kabiru Lawal. AsbGist learnt that this caused tension in the region during the primaries today.
Unconfirmed reports say Desmond Elliot has the full backing of Bola Tinubu, who is a former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of APC. Big congrats to him.
