He said he’d be back – and he is: Schwarzenegger picks up where he left off in Terminator: Genisys trailer

If you’ve been waiting eagerly for a glimpse of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to the Terminator franchise, then your patience is about to be rewarded.

 Yes, the first trailer for Terminator: Genisys – in which he is, as you might have guessed, ‘back’ – has just been released, featuring the Austrian heavyweight in all his cyborg glory.


And if this early preview is anything to go by it looks as if he’s lost none of his Terminator-esque edge, as he joins a much younger cast which also includes Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, Divergent’s Jai Courtney and our very own Matt Smith.

I’ll be back. Yes we KNOW already…

The trailer – which also gives us a glimpse of some of the action sequences we can expect from this ‘reboot’ of the original franchise – comes hot on the heels of a ‘moving’ poster for the film which was released yesterday.

 It is due in cinemas on July 3 2015.
