Man United 'want to sign these FIVE world stars in £100m raid'

Manchester United reportedly want Mats Hummels, Diego Godin, Dani Alves, Kevin Strootman and Arjen Robben as part of a £100million summer splurge on players.

United boss Louis van Gaal has already spent over£200million since taking over at Old Trafford, with the Dutchman charged with rebuilding an aging squad.

And according to the Telegraph, he’s been promised another £100million to finish the job in the coming months, with five top names being lined up.


The Guardian says two centre backs are the priority with Borussia Dortmund’s Hummels and Atletico Madrid’s Godin the two main targets, while Barca’s Alves could come in at right-back.

In midfield, Roma’s Strootman is a long-term target who looks increasingly likely to arrive, while it’s also claimed they could push to bring in Bayern Munich winger Robben.
