Photos: David Beckham has been involved in a car accident

Ex-Footballer David Beckham was leaving Arsenal’s training ground over the weekend in his Audi when he crashed into a Mitsubishi carrying a woman and her adult daughter.

It is believed that David’s son Brooklyn was in the car with him at the time.

David, who reportedly hurt his shoulder, is said to have rushed to help the women after checking that his son was alright.

He even gave the other driver his jumper as they waited for help to arrive.

A local resident told The Sun that the footballer was clearly very sorry for what happened.
‘Beckham was turning right and mustn’t have seen the other car, or realised how fast it was travelling.

‘She smacked into the side of him. It’s a miracle no one was seriously hurt. Beckham was massively apologetic.’

A witness said that the former England captain is ‘lucky to be alive’.

‘Beckham took the hit on the driver’s side – it could have been a completely different story’ they added.

Police have not confirmed that David was involved in the crash, say BBC, but they did say the male driver of the Audi was slightly injured.
