The saltiness of every Christian is largely dependent on his fire being on. Our opening text tells us God’s heart concerning our sacrifices. Sacrifice in our dispensation refers to worship and service.
Your saltiness is important in your place of service/ worship. Many serve the lord and after a while seem to have lost themselves. They can’t seem to find the fire (Passion) they once had serving the lord. Never embrace the reasons that cause a slither in your service to the lord. Fire is light; it purifies and refines much like salt that preserves.
You are the light of the world, the devil always comes up with vices designed to cover/dim your light, when the devil dims your light the world can tell, because you were once shining.
A Christian that seeks to serve God without the right knowledge has failed. He simply gave the devil the advantage. There is a way to ensure your light never goes dim. The bible tells us in Daniel 12:3 “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.” The amplified rendering puts it thus “…and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever". Being a soul winner is directly proportional to your light. Turning many to righteousness is God’s way of keeping your light on.
The devil gets to discover your fire is not burning when you don’t give attention to soul winning. This is a principle that works. They that be wise shine as the brightness of the firmament.
You can tell who these are; they are the soul winners because 'he that winneth a soul is wise'.
DECLARATION
I am a soul winner, I bring many to righteousness. I recognise the opportunities God has given me to win souls today and I utilize them.
