Photos: Falcao storms out of Old Trafford after being axed from United squad
Radamel Falcao’s future at Manchester United has been plunged into doubt after he was seen speeding away from Old Trafford following his axe from the squad to face Southampton.
The £346,000-a-week striker was left out of the match-day 18 to face the Saints and didn’t hang around to watch his team-mates eventually lose 1-0 – leaving the ground by car before kick-off.

The Colombian’s exclusion was a surprising one as boss Louis van Gaal
confirmed the on-loan Monaco man was not injured, but still opted to
omit the 28-year-old from the bench in favour of three centre-backs
(Jonny Evans, Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett) and rookie striker James
Wilson.Falcao, who has made just seven starts since joining United from Monaco, has scored two crucial goals in his last five games – earning his side a point at both Stoke and Aston Villa – but may now be facing a fight to cement his Old Trafford future following today’s snub and subsequent reaction.
