Mother shoots two sleeping sons to death then kills herself (Photos)

Two men were shot by their mother who then killed herself, according to police reports.

Levi, 25, and Garrett Brown, 24, were sleeping when they were murdered in their sleep by Rebecca Smith, 48, also known as Rebecca Brown.

She left a suicide note at the home in Webber Falls, Oklahoma, laying out her intentions.
It is believed that Smith was on medication and there is a possibility that she had mental health issues.

On Christmas Eve, Smith wrote on Facebook: ‘I just wanted to tell all of you my wonderful amazing family members here on facebook how much I appreciate how very kind you all are always to me. I have been through hell for the last month and you have all been so very kind to me! God will reward you, I just know it.’

Speaking about the discovery of his son’s murders, Leroy Brown told Muskogee Phoenix: ‘It’s not the call you want to get at 10am. They were a couple of good boys.’

Levi had been in the Army but returned to Oklahoma after serving his time. Garrett was a father of two.
