Awkward! Sterling and Terry mocked after landing in this unfortunate position

Raheem Sterling and John Terry found themselves the butt of jokes on social media on Tuesday after the pair became tangled in a rather unfortunate position during Liverpool’s 1-1 Capital One Cup draw with Chelsea.

The incident occurred as Sterling attempted to make a run towards goal in the hope of restoring parity following Eden Hazard’s first-half penalty – but found himself blocked off by Terry.


The force of the ensuing collision resulted in the pair becoming entangled in an awkward position, with fans being unable to stop themselves from guessing on Twitter what the duo looked like they could be doing…
