Balotelli FINALLY scores first Premier League goal for Liverpool!

Mario Balotelli gives a thumbs up after netting the winner for Liverpool against Tottenham

Mario Balotelli proved to be a super substitute for Liverpool on Tuesday after the striker came on against Tottenham and netted a late winner at Anfield – his first Premier League goal this season.

Balotelli – who had only scored twice for the Reds since making his £16million switch to Liverpool from AC Milan last summer – was brought on by Brendan Rodgers in the 74th minute with the score level at 2-2.


And the Italian made sure he repaid his manager’s faith in him when he side-footed Adam Lallana’s low cross from the right in to the back of the net to ensure Liverpool snatched all three points in a highly entertaining 3-2 thriller.
