Woman publicly shames man who allegedly 'touched' her on flight

Videos purporting to show a woman publicly shaming a man who allegedly touched her inappropriately on a plane have gone viral. 

Throughout the two clips – one filmed whilst on board the IndiGo flight and the other in an airport – a woman can be heard shouting at a man in the seat behind her.

He says: ‘I am sorry about it, please forgive me.’ To which she replies: ‘Why, I’m sorry I’m a girl, please forgive me.’


In a second video uploaded to YouTube she confronts the man again – this time in an airport.
This is where he admits he ‘made a mistake’.

Part of the video transcript reads:

Man: ‘I’m prepared to face any consequences for it.’
Woman: ‘So you want to say that you want to give me a written apology for misbehaving with me? What did you think? I would keep quiet?’
Man: ‘I made a mistake. Everybody makes mistakes in their life. I made a mistake, it was a big mistake.’
Woman: ‘You think this is a mistake?’
Man: ‘This is definitely a mistake.’

The video description alleges that the man ‘put his fingers through the seat gap to touch her’.
It adds that he was taken into police custody upon landing.
