This breastfeeding photo has got people talking

Where mums choose to breastfeed has apparently become a matter of public debate.

Breastfeeding in public has been discussed at length over the last year. The debate has taken a new twist after a mum posted a picture on Instagram of her breastfeeding on the toilet.


Mum of two from Alabama, Elisha Wilson Beach, posted the picture earlier this week with the caption: ‘This is motherhood and it ain’t always pretty. What’s your #momtruth?’

Comments underneath the original post include: ‘Yes!!! Thank you! This IS MY life!!!’ and ‘You go mama!’, but after the picture was shared on the Life of Dad Facebook page, it has sparked a heated debate over where it’s appropriate to breastfeed.
