Arsenal ‘complete transfer of Petr Cech’

Arsenal have reportedly completed the transfer of Chelsea’s Petr Cech, according to the Daily Mail.

The veteran goalkeeper has made over 300 appearances for the Blues, but is believed to have asked to leave Stamford Bridge for a move to the Gunners.


Cech, 33, will be moving to the Emirates for a fee of £11million, and his arrival will no doubt please Arsenal fans ahead of next season.

Interestingly, Cech’s first official match for Arsene Wenger’s side could be against Chelsea in the Community Shield.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina, with speculation that both keepers may be making a transfer away from north London in the summer.
