Arsenal and Tottenham supporters were involved in violent clashes ahead of the north London derby on Saturday afternoon.

Both sides went into the match with their best shot at winning a Premier League title in many years so tensions were high before the midday kickoff.


There have similar scenes in recent years ahead fixture but events spiraled out of control outside White Hart Lane and police had to be called.

One fan was spotted with blood pouring from his head and others were knocked to the floor in ugly scenes.

Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring in the 39th minute for the Gunners and the sides went into the break with the score at 1-0.
