There Is a Future For You - David Okoye
There Is a Future For You - By Pastor David Okoye
“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome” AMP Jeremiah 29:11
Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:30,32 “wherefore, If God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you? for your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things” The life of the God-child can become so filled with so much pressure because of the challenges of life that if that God-child is not careful, he would lose sight of the life and the God that he has that is greater and bigger than any challenge or circumstance.
There is no greater life or higher calling, than you’ve got as a child of God. Your welfare and future is vested on the Most High God and He cannot fail.
God never uses any man to dump him. Look at all the men God used in the scriptures and even in our time. He always takes care of His own.
David must have understood this which is why he could say with all boldness and assurance “the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” Psalms 23:1. The AMP rendering says “the Lord is my shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.” In His place of Lordship where He reigns supreme, He caters for you.
When the God-child gets to discover and acknowledge the Lord as his shepherd (provider, guide through life, and protection) he would never worry or think about the future with so much uncertainty, or fear.
He would be assured that his future is secured in the One who has written out the manuscript of his life. Refuse to be discouraged no matter the situation.
There is a future for you beyond your wildest dreams and imagination for He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever ask or think.
