Friday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 27 May, 2016) - Not Just A Blessing

“And it came to pass from that time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake: and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field” Genesis 39:5

Glory! What a life we have been called into. 

Our opening scripture shows us a great truth; we are not just supposed to be blessed or be a blessing, we are supposed to be THE BLESSING. The above scripture shows us how the household of Potiphar became blessed for the singular reason of being connected to someone that was connected to God. Joseph became the blessing.


Think about Laban who knew for sure that he was blessed because Jacob worked for him. 

The blessings of God on a man who has a walk with Him cannot be limited or restrained by sex, race or place.

The promises God made to Abraham became the foundation of the blessing. 

These men did not stop at being blessings to people but people were blessed by merely being connected to them. 

As new creations, we have been brought into a greater life than the men of the old. We have been brought into a higher platform. We are seeds of Abraham; we have the blessings of Abraham. We are more than a blessing. 

Live in this light today.

DECLARATION
I obey the principles of God. I am not just blessed, I am the blessing. Kings shall come to the brightness of my rising.
