Sunday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 7th August, 2016) - Your Source of Strength
“Knowing that he which raised up the Lord
Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you'' 2
Corinthians 4:14
Our opening scripture shows us something very significant it says ''He which raised up the Lord Jesus” It shows us the efficacy of the Spirit of God in the life of a man.
If Jesus was raised by the Spirit; the Holy Spirit and the new creation has receive The Spirit of God then it invariably means that as a God-child you have the power of God in you. Little wonder our Lord Jesus urged His disciples to wait for the promise of the Father.

Acts 1:8 AMP “but you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth”
The gift of the Holy Ghost is the greatest and most precious gift given to mankind.
Little wonder 2 Corinthians 4:7 says “we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” By the strength of no man shall he prevail (no man can prevail by his natural strength and ability). This means that as a God-child, your ability to succeed is not in your natural strength but in the strength of the Spirit of God. He is your source of strength. Oh! For this reason, we can do all things through Christ (the anointing, the Holy Ghost) who strengthens us. GLORY!!
Refuse to rely on your own strength, expertise, income or talent; rely on the Spirit of God.
DECLARATION
I have the strength of a thousand nations; I am unstoppable because God dwells in me. Hallelujah!
