Friday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 12th August, 2016) - The Life To The Full

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the word that He (even) gave up His only His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life” John 3:16 AMP

The ending part of our opening scripture says that “we may not perish but have eternal life'. This communicates to us the extent of God's love for us that He desired for us to have His kind of life; ZOE (God's class of life). 

A life that surpasses every other kind of life, a life that is full of health, wealth and success, alien to every negativity, impregnable and undefeated.. What a generous father!

But sadly many have this life and live normal lives. They are like that eaglet that grew up among chicks, knew there was something unique about him but couldn't quite place what and so he was subject to the same fears the chicks had. He ran like the chicks when eagles come to pick them up. He didn't realize that he was of a different breed, little wonder Galatians 4:1 tells “now I say, that the heir, as long as he remains a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all”

You can't know about this life if you don't study the Word of God only then can you be like that eaglet when he realized who he was, he engaged the abilities in him by reason of the class of life he had and kept soaring high the rest of his life. 

You are not normal, search the scriptures and discover for yourself the life of God in you.

I live out God's life to its fullest. GLORY!
