Pics & Video: Massive 33-foot anaconda is found in Brazil - and could be biggest snake ever

Dam workers have found what’s been described as ‘the biggest snake in history’ – a 33ft anaconda weighing 400kg.

Footage filmed by the workers shows a body 3 feet in diameter – being lifted by earth-moving equipment.

Construction workers working on a dam in Altamira, Pará are said to have found the creature after an explosion on site at the Belo Monte dam.

It’s not clear how the animal died – and many users are outraged that it was shown chained up and dead.

One commenter said, ‘I’m not sure this is real, but if it is, shame on these people for killing it! A snake that big has probably been alive for a very long time now, just to be killed for a few pictures?? What a waste…’
