The news of former Super Eagles of Nigeria and Inter Milan defender, Taribo West's rumoured death is currently trending on the internet.

Reports had it that Taribo West died this evening in South Africa.

But his former Super Eagles teammate and Ex- Africa Player of the Year, Victor Ikpeba has negated the news announcing Taribo West’s death.

Victor Ikpeba took to Twitter and wrote "My brother Taribo West is alive. Please ignore rumours that he is dead."

Well, that was scaring!
