“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: THAT THE MAN OF GOD MAY BE PERFECT, THOROUGHLY FURNISHED UNTO ALL GOOD WORKS ”. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Success is not a surprise. I.e no man becomes successful and is surprised at his success. He can always tell and show others step by step processes to his success. The successful always have a success story.

In the realms of the spirit these things apply. Every successful man spiritually has a success story, you can never gamble your way into it. Unfortunately, in our time, many of God's children expect God to do the work while they sit tight, pray and fast for their miracle.

Scriptures give us account of David who at a very tender age defeated the giant Goliath and how he got his victory. "AND IT CAME TO PASS, WHEN THE PHILISTINE AROSE, AND CAME AND DREW NIGH TO MEET DAVID, THAT DAVID HASTED, AND RAN TOWARD THE ARMY TO MEET THE PHILISTINE. AND DAVID PUT HIS HAND IN HIS BAG, AND TOOK HENCE A STONE, AND SLANG IT, AND SMOTE THE PHILISTINE IN HIS FOREHEAD, THAT THE STONE SUNK INTO HIS FOREHEAD, AND HE FELL UPON HIS FACE TO THE EARTH." 1 Samuel 17:48-49.

For many years the church has believed that the Spirit of God was solely responsible for the victory. But you see, the tribe of Benjamin was known for mastery of the sling. From a tender age, they were trained with the mastery of the sling. So much so, that scriptures record for us that they could sling stones at a hair-breadth, and not miss. It was not a wonder David chose a sling and got his target at his first try. (Judges 20:14-16).

His success was not a surprise. The Spirit of the Lord worked with his talent.

In our dispensation, the God-child has got to improve himself so he can be meet for the master's use. Little wonder Paul wrote to Timothy "study to show thyself approved unto God, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH." 2 Timothy 2:15.

Learn and practice the Word. Let it have its perfect work in you, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing, thoroughly furnished (capable) for every good work.

DECLARATION
I am a doer of the Word. I am improving myself and my abilities. I am meet for every good work.
