Tuesday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Diet 11th October 2016) - Get Up And Work!
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Proverbs 29:18
Everyone goes through different processes of salvation. Salvation continues even after a man gives his life to the Lord.
There is a bigger salvation the Holy Ghost does with and in us after we receive the Lord Jesus. It's a rebirth process whereby God constantly births you into His continuous plan.

Vision is the sense or ability of sight. It is a goal or an idea towards which one aspires. In vision God starts identifying and selecting us for success.
It is often disheartening to see a lot of God’s children living a life without direction and purpose. They might want to do big things for the Lord but have absolutely no plan on how to go about it . They are ever expectant for a good job, or capital to start up a business but wait patiently on the Lord to perform a miracle for them.
Proverbs 16:9 “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.”The AMP rendering says “A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.”
It is not the responsibility of God to make plans for you but to direct you. Without a vision (a plan), the Lord cannot do much for you. Faith without works is ignorance; it is death.
Whenever God's people don't see the plan of God, they don't know where God is headed with them.
There is no vision among them, and in this state, the Word of God is clear that the people will perish. This is quite important for the God-child, you cannot perish. Know that perishing does not start in hell, but it starts with unfruitfulness.
Proverbs 4:25-26 tells “Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you. Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright.”
When the devil wants to take away the life (efficacy) of the God-child, he starts with his vision. Give him no place today. Get up and work.
DECLARATION
I have vision and so I do not perish. I know what God expects of me. I am fruitful
beyond compare.
SCRIPTURAL REFERENCE
Psalm 90:17, Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV, AMP)
