N'Golo Kante called 'Judas' after Chelsea star watches Leicester City win
Martin O’Neill came out with the joke of the evening by branding N’Golo Kante ‘Judas’ for attending Leicester City’s win over Sevilla in the Champions League.
Kante was at the King Power Stadium to watch his old side in action and the midfielder couldn’t hide his delight at seeing them progress.
Despite a poor defence of their domestic title, the Premier League champions are through to the quarter-final of the Champions League after goals from Wes Morgan and Marc Albrighton sealed a 2-0 victory over their Spanish opponents.
But as the live pictures of Kante celebrations rolled on, O’Neill, who was working as a pundit for BT Sport, remarked: ‘Judas! Judas!’
At that point, Gary Lineker interjected with: ‘Well, no, I can’t [be critical] with him, he was so pivotal to Leicester’s success last season.’

O’Neill quickly clarified that his remark was a joke, but judging by the boos towards Kante from Leicester City fans at Stamford Bridge in October, the midfielder’s £32million move to Chelsea did not go down well with everyone.
