Thursday Daily Devotional By Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 18th May 2017) - Get Trained

“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” Hebrews 5:12

A soldier never resigns, but will always step up to battle when there is a need for war. Every soldier undergoes a rigorous line of training until the soldier in them is brought out. Soldiers are trained to obey the last order. 

In your service to the Lord, you have got to give God a last order approach. 

God needs soldiers that would maintain the victory (Christ has gotten) in His name. For you to become a good and resilient soldier, you have to give yourself to training.

Your training determines your longitivity. As you give yourself to more training, your Christian life becomes stronger. 

Every man is a product of what he has been trained into. Your training process will determine how far you will go in the Christian race. 

Romans 8:14 says, 

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” 

Give yourself to be trained by the Holy Ghost. When the Holy Ghost trains you, every facet of your life would be affected. That is, He would train you even down to the clothes you wear, the kind of friends you keep, etc. Only true sons and true soldiers would give their all to the training process. 

Amazingly, the training never ends. A soldier never stops training. Instead, as the battle gets more intense, he undergoes more training. 

When the Holy Ghost begins to train you, the first place he focuses on is your character. He begins to correct your mind and then He cloths you with Himself. 

For you to progress in life, you have to submit yourself to the training process. This is the MILITARIZING process. 

For the word of the season (our season of immeasurable impact) to be fulfilled on your life, you must give yourself to be trained by God's Spirit through His Word; that is, you have to be militarized. He begins to separate you from persons that do not carry the same vision you do.

DECLARATION
I give myself to the training process. I never give up, never give in, I only win. I am militarized daily.
