NPFL: Fans Breaks Gombe United Goalkeeper's Skull For Conceding Late Goal (PHOTOS)

Gombe United fans attacked and broke the skull of their goalkeeper, Emmanuel Fabiyi after conceding a late goal in a Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) match that ended 3-3 against Enugu Rangers.

The fans accused Emmanuel of match fixing after he conceded a late goal which made the home team not to take the full 3 points.

Emmanuel Fabiyi suffered head injuries, which needed stitches.

Meanwhile, the League Management Company (LMC) has slammed a N3.25million fine on Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Gombe United, following crowd trouble during Wednesday’s Match.

The match has been rescheduled against champions Enugu Rangers in Gombe.
