ASUU Declares Indefinite Strike (See Memo)

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has declared 2017 indefinite and nationwide strike.

The National President of the union, Dr. Biodun Ogunyemi, announced this on Monday during a meeting of the National Executive Council of ASUU in Abuja.

According to a statement signed by Ogunyemi, the union resolved to embark on a total, comprehensive and indefinite nationwide strike action commencing on Sunday, August 13, 2017.
