Serena Williams has welcomed her first child with her fiancé, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian.

Williams, 35, gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Palm Beach, Florida, on Friday, September 1.

The baby weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and her mother her doing well.

According to reporter Chris Shepherd from WPBF-25 News, a source at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, confirmed the couple's happy news, with Chris taking to Twitter to reveal: 'Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well.'
