Wizkid's album not selling in US despite his "style" being emulated - U.S. rapper claims (VIDEO)
Nigerian singer Wizkid is not selling in the United States according to American rapper, Joe Budden.
The rapper revealed that Wizkid's "Sounds from the other side" album is not selling despite a lot of American singers now emulating his "Caribbean bleeping style and flow and songwriting".
Joe Budden, who is also a Presenter, said this while on a talk show acknowledging the feat achieved by Wizkid Ayo.
Wizkid’s album came out… we’ve never talked about it… and it’s amazing. And I don’t think that’s really fair that all you n*ggers can steal Wizkid’s Caribbean bleeping style and flow and songwriting and not buy the album. he said
Y'all should go buy Wizkid’s album if y’all gonna appropriate his f**king music and style. That’s what I did and it’s a great album
And the host of the talk show also said:
This guy is a superstar globally, he’s making moves even if he’s not so present in the States right now… he’ll get there. He’s doing very well for himself.
