Wednesday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 18th OCT, 2017) - A plan for you

Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which has given us in Christ Jesus before the world began 2 Timothy 1:9

In every light abounds darkness. For this reason, everyone seems to always be contaminated. The higher the intensity of the light, the deeper the darkness hides.

From the time of creation, God had a plan to create a people that He can have a relationship with, not out of obligation but by choice. For this reason, God knew a man had to be redeemed to get him back to a plan where he can relate to God.

Before this was down, God created a sacrifice and finalized the redemption by His words. There was an existing enemy, he was an enemy because he rebelled. This is why every rebel is always an enemy.

The devil has not gotten one victory from the day he left.

For the blood of Jesus to suffice, His blood had to be covenanted. Abraham was the first step God took in the light of our redemption. This covenant was one through which God covenanted man. It was an everlasting covenant; what God was doing for Abraham was for an everlasting purpose.

Because God is a king, every one that comes from Him had to be a King. His DNA is imprinted with His life and lifestyle.

David bought himself into the plan of God. If David was not in the equation, the plan of God for Jesus would not have been affected. But David became relevant because of something. His heart of service set him out from everyone in his time. Despite his limitations and failures, he still proved his unwavering love and trust in God.

There is no limit to what you can do for the Lord as a God-child. Your life is covenanted and as such, your progress and success are inevitable.

DECLARATION:
I make progress every day of my life. I live above the ordinary.

Genesis 15:6-21
