Saturday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 18th NOV, 2017) - A patient steward

Pastor David Okoye
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

A patient steward is a steward who is able to remain calm and not become admitted when waiting for a particular thing as long as it takes.

A patient man will do a thing in a careful eat over a long period of time without provocation or strain. The day I came across Matthew 24:12, it gave me a lot to think about. It says:
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will wax cold.

The MSG says
For many others, the overwhelming spread of evil will do them in- nothing left of their love but a mound of ashes.

The proceeding verse goes on to say,
Staying with it- that's what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won't be sorry, and you'll be saved.
That day, I decided that the love of God in my heart will not wax cold.

Patience is vital for you. It is as compulsory as it is necessary for the God-child. If you do not develop patience, you will lose. It does not matter the situation is things around or how desperate the circumstance, if you lose patience, you will lose.

Never accept promises from anywhere else except from the Lord. If it does not come from the Lord then it will not stand the test of time and eternity. When you stand at the gate of destiny, if you do not present your certificate of patience, you would not enter.

Let patience have her perfect work. There is a perfect work that patience needs to have in you. Patience is needed in your walk with the Lord.

Every sign our Lord Jesus said to wait for eventually came (Matthew 24). And for every time He said to wait for His coming, know that it will surely come. Refuse to be caught away by the world. This earth is not your final destination. Cultivate patience today.

DECLARATION:
Patience has her perfect work on me. I obtain the prize at the end because I am a patient and Diligent steward.
