Rivers United players prostrate to beg Wike after they got him provoked by protesting for their unpaid money
Rivers United FC players on Tuesday stormed the Rivers State Government House to protest for their payment of sign-on fees for the 2014/15 Nigerian football season, which got the State governor, Nyesom Wike really angry.
According to report, the money was owed by the previous administration, before the merger, and during the days of Sharks and Dolphins FC (Both football clubs were merged to form Rivers United).
The players later thanked the Governor and apologized seriously for their actions.
