WATCH: Aisha Buhari posts videos of senators saying Nigeria now a lawless country, president not in charge

President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha, on Friday shared videos of Nigerian senators saying cabal has hijacked her husband’s government.
In one of the videos, a Senator from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Isah Misau, who represents Bauchi Central senatorial district, has alleged that cabals in the Presidential Villa and not President Buhari have been the ones running Nigerian government.

“Mr. President, you are the speaker we have 2 or 3 months to correct this thing. It’s as if (president Buhari) is not in charge. It’s as if some people are the ones in charge of this country. Even the DG NIA that we are talking about, they said some people in the cabal are the ones that appointed that person to be there.”

In another video the wife of the president reposted, Senator Ben Murray Bruce (Bayelsa East), who was lamenting the lawlessness in Nigeria, saying Nigeria is becoming a country where there is no consequences for bad behaviour.

“We either have a government or we don’t. We either believe in the sanctity of lives and property or we don’t” he said.

In a third video, Senator Misau asked if the new director general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Ahmed Abubakar is “qualified to be there,” saying that he “failed two exams. He was appointed because he’s close to the cabal taking decision”
“50 percent of the ministers are not performing. Since the president assumed office, he has not taken any decision to change this country,” Senator Misau said.
