First rainfall of the year in Edo causes huge flood
The very first rainfall in Edo state has resulted in serious floodings amongst some roads in the state. According to some residents in Benin city, the first rainfall of the year has done more harm than good to them.

Some residents are already calling on the state government for help in containing the floods.


A man had his car partially submerged by the heavy flood after rainfall on Saturday, January 20 along Saint Saviour road in Benin city.
