Buhari renames Federal University in Ebonyi “Alex Ekwueme University"

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that the Federal University in Ebonyi State be renamed after former vice president Alex Ekwueme.


Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo made the announcement during the funeral service of the late elder statesman.

He said this was in honour of Ekwueme’s contributions to nation building.
