South Africa's President Jacob Zuma responds to efforts to kick him out

South Africa's President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday responds to efforts to kick him out in a no-confidence motion, saying "nobody has said what I have done”.

“Unfortunately, no one has been able to provide what is it that I’ve done because I said to them if I have done something wrong there are processes in the ANC that need to be followed if I have been doing something wrong‚" Zuma said.

"In the discussion‚ I asked as to‚ ‘what was the problem? Why must I be persuaded to resign? Have I done anything wrong?’ "And of course the officials provide what is it that I've done‚" he said.

He said an order by the African National Congress (ANC) that he should step down as head of state was “unfair".

"I don't think it is fair, I think it is unfair," Zuma said in an interview with the state broadcaster.

Zuma said he would issue a statement later on Wednesday.
