Kelechi Iheanacho scores first Premier League goal for Leceister City

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first English Premier League goal for Leicester City who came from a goal down to beat West Brom 4-1 at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Salomon Rondon scored an eighth-minute opener for the Baggies, firing in Oliver Burke’s pass into the six-yard box before Jamie Vardy restored parity for the Foxes in the 21st minute

Iheanacho who came on in the 60th minute for Shinji Okazaki made an instant by providing an assist for Riyad Mahrez to make it 2-1 two minutes later.


The Nigerian later gave Leicester a two-goal cushion in the 76th minute of the game before Vincent Iborra sealed the win in stoppage time.


The win was Leicester City’s first in 11 EPL games.
