Saturday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 28th April 2018) - A New Beginning

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. John 16:13

Many don't know the Person of the Spirit of God though He lives in them. 1 John 4:4 tells,

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

While many know this scripture and perhaps confess it in the face of challenging circumstances, they have not come to discover the greater One in them.

The Amplified renders the above scripture as,

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.

You have first got to realize as a God-child, that you are now of God; you come from Him and belong to Him.

Your status as a God-child ensures your absolute victory. But, the reality of your victory in life is reliant on the Holy Ghost in you. The inception of the Holy Ghost to live in us was as a result of the death and resurrection of Jesus.

John 16:7 tells,

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter would not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you.

Discover the Holy Ghost in your life and take advantage of His presence.

The Holy Ghost is not in you to remain dormant but to empower you for every good work. Don't take steps in life without the Holy Ghost. A thousand steps taken without the Holy Ghost would not produce half a step taken with Him. The Spirit of God was initiated from the beginning even before God could begin the creation (Genesis 1:1)

If you understand this, everyday of your life you would let the Holy Spirit lead you. No man knows the things of God better than the Holy Spirit and that same Spirit, He has given you. Learn to inquire and submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

DECLARATION
My life is fruitful and productive. I take advantage of the Spirit of God everyday, thereby producing results.
