Angry youths who are believed to be supporters of a suspended senator, Ovie Omo-Agege, stormed the Senate chamber at the National Assembly on Wednesday morning and stole the mace.

According to reports, the incident happened few seconds after a suspended senator, Ovie Omo-Agege, entered the chamber.

PREMIUM Times reported that about 10 suspected thugs who came to the venue with the senator forced their entry into the chamber, and a few seconds later, the thugs ran out of the chamber with the mace causing pandemonium in the Senate.
