Wednesday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 2nd May 2018) - Perfect Peace

And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. Isaiah 54:13

Every of God's children ought to experience the God kind of peace. Scripture tells us that it surpasses all understanding. Our opening text tells us that it is possible to be taught by the Lord and GREAT is the peace of those taught of the LORD. The Word of God brings peace. Only God's Word and the revelation gotten from the Word can produce peace.

John 14:27 tells us,

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth give I unto you, let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid

Little wonder Jesus was also calm and peaceful even when faced with a storm. The peace Christ gave to us comes only by His Word.

This peace is the peace that surrounds faith. Jesus tells us not to let our heart be troubled or afraid; that is, He wants you to keep your heart in perfect peace.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your heart is kept in peace by constantly speaking words of faith. Faith is a product of the Word. It requires the environment of peace to work effectively. The opposite of peace is fear and fear is not a product of peace.

For this reason, 2 Timothy 1:7 says,

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Fear is not a product of God's Spirit. You have the ability to instil peace in your heart and refuse fear.

Cultivate the culture of constantly talking the Word because it produces faith and the environment of peace and therein lies our victory.

DECLARATION
I am constantly speaking faith-filled words. I am living in an environment of peace and faith.
