Thursday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 24th May 2018) - Your Thought Pattern

“Search the scriptures for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39

It is rightly said that a man's thoughts decide his life. So you could easily decide how a man thinks by identifying his way of life. What you think long enough becomes a part of you in the same vein, what you don't think long enough cant take a hold of your life. Whatever cannot take a hold of your mind cannot be a part of you.

God is interested in changing your thought pattern because God knows that irrespective of the number of blessings he gives us if we don't receive it in our minds, its useless to us.god needs us to think differently, coming to church is not a religious affair, its Gods company to produce you.

Learn to trust your producer, his ways are not your ways nor his thoughts your thoughts.in the world there is corruption and moral decadence but God has provided a way of escape for us (2 Peter 1:4-6). Moral decadence is a standard that stays in your mind.

Its a mentality that births corruption. Corruption is an attitude. Moral decadence is a state a Christian finds himself in where he may not know it but his virtues have started reducing.

The solution to corruption is the word of God. For this cause, our opening text says to search the scriptures because they produce in you a thinking that arrives you at Zoe. This thinking contradicts the standards and virtues of the world.

When you give yourself to the word of God you discover after a while a great distinction in your present thought pattern and your previous mentality. Get out of your mind (mental reasoning and ability), and get into the mind of Christ for therein is life.

DECLARATION
Father I walk in your ways, I am the express image of my father so I think like him. My thought line is producing life for me. I'm into the mind of Christ.
