Saturday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 5th May 2018) - You Have Been Liberated

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 2 Corinthians 3:17 (AMP)

In the clause '…and where the Spirit of the Lord is…' the word 'where' implies a place / location / environment.

In other words, it can be said that any place / location / area in which the Spirit of God is found; there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, freedom]. Therefore, the Spirit of God is not associated with bondage.

1 Corinthians 3:16 brings to light the fact that anyone who is saved and has come into son-ship, is the temple of God and has the Spirit of God resident in him.

This invariably means that the God-child (who is the habitation of the Holy- Ghost) is free from all forms of bondage and is no longer under the servitude of the devil.

You've been liberated from the constricting and obsolete laws that kept you bound to the devil. Slavery to fear, condemnation, sin, mind issues, etc. have been dealt with.


Any man that is in Christ is a new creation and has been translated (delivered) from darkness into light. Refuse to give the devil power over you. The things that held you bound are obsolete; too old to have any grounds in your life.

Live with this consciousness every day of your life. Issues will show up to make you feel like you need some sort of 'deliverance': always remember that you've got the Spirit of God resident in you.

If He's in you then you've been liberated. Glory! With this mindset you can declare liberty in every facet of your life. Speak to that situation today.

DECLARATION
I'm no longer a slave of the world. I am a son of God with the Spirit of God resident in me. I've been liberated!
