Tuesday daily devotional by Pastor David Okoye (Ambassadors Word Diet, 8th May 2018) - You have authority

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 1:22-23

Isaiah 9:6 is a scripture that prophecies about the Son of God who was to have total authority and dominion on earth. He was the one mandated to rule the world.

It should be noted that the said government was to be upon His shoulder. It was a prophecy telling the future of the church (the body of Christ). The government was to be upon the Church. At the resurrection of Jesus, all authority was passed on to His body.

Colossians 1:18 tells that,

Christ is the head of the body, the church…

The church is the body of Christ and 'the shoulder' is a part of the body and not the head. The church has been given the mandate to call the shots in the world and dominate the land – and you are a part of His body.

The AMP version of our text reads,

Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]. 

If Christ lives in you, it means you have the full measure of Him in you. You have been given an equal measure of authority over the earth. Glory to God!

Our text tells that all things have been put under his feet. Even the earth is classified as 'his footstool'. The world and its entities are below you; too low to be a match for you – Glory to God!

Never let the devil tell you anything different.

You've been fitly joined with Christ, so the same authority he has, you have in equal measure. You can't be shifted out of place.

Reject the fear today and take charge of your domain always.

DECLARATION
I am fitly joined with Christ; so I operate with an equal measure of His authority. There is no fear in me; rather I dominate the earth. Glory to God!
