It is so sad to see that so many Christians have bought a mentality inspired by the devil. These set of Christians have been made to believe that it is impossible to live a life shorn of sin; that is, a life that is devoid of sin.

They believe that it is impossible to live like Jesus here on earth. Oh, what level of ignorance! You see, God didn't sacrifice His Son for a church that would 'rise and fall'. No! The sacrifice of Jesus was done so that we can be partakers of the divine nature.

2 Peter 1:4 says,

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 

To partake of the divine nature means to become like divinity. That is, to function in the place of God here on earth.

Scriptures record that in the 33 and half years that Jesus lived on the earth, He never sinned. Don't think this was possible because He was God. Jesus was 100% man as well. But He dealt with His flesh to the point where His divine nature superseded His human nature.

 If you would live a life that is above sin, you must deal with your flesh daily. When we talk about the subject of sin, a lot of persons believe that we're talking about some wrongdoings in particular. What they visualize when they hear about sin is murder, or rape, or adultery.

Sin is anything that is against the Word of God. It is anything that is without faith; it is a disobedience to God's Word. The inception of sin was disobedience (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:1-7). Adam and Eve sinned because they went against the Word of God.

As a Christian, you must be careful with your communication. What triggered Adam and Eve into disobeying God was Eve's continual communication with the wrong person. God doesn't want you to be that Christian that rises and falls, He requires you to LIVE ABOVE SIN.

DECLARATION
I live a life far above sin. I kill my flesh daily. I do not let the devil rob me of my blessings.
