Liverpool move to sign Nigeria international Moses Simon

Liverpool are keen on signing 22-year-old Moses Simon from Gent after having scouted him thoroughly during the past season, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Nigerian scored six goals and got three assists in Belgium in 2017-18, and is reported to be worth around £10m.

Simon won't be at the World Cup though -- national team coach Gernot Rohr left him out of the squad as the winger has been suffering from a hip injury.

Moses Simon who has been tracked by several Premier League clubs, has a year left remaining on his contract and is expected to command a fee of around £10M from Belgian side Gent.
