Afro music veteran, Femi Kuti has reacted to the disappearance of one of his band members who vanished 20mins before show time in the U.S.

The band member identified as Aghedo Andrew was slated to perform with his band team and every trace of him could not be located just at the point when he was utmost needed in the band.

Femi Kuti took to Twitter to narrate how devastated he was about the incident, but took time to praise other band members who held it down and ensured the show went smoothly.

He said:

My bassist Aghedo Andrew nearly ruined my concert yesterday in New York @SummerStage ,He disappeared 20mins before show time. I want to thank the rest of the band for standing strong and giving one of the best shows of the tour.

He has a good job. Paid quite well. Has enough money to resign properly and with all visas in his passport he can travel anywhere in the world. So that’s not an excuse.

When a fan tried to console him by telling him not to worry about the incident as Aghedo Andrew will surely be fished out by ICE, Femi Kuti said;

I'm not worried. Still have dedicated musicians that are committed to holding the integrity of the music.

Meanwhile, the singer's sister, Yeni Kuti, also took to her Instagram page to call out Mr Aghedo and ahead to tagged President Donald Trump to notify him of the guy's action and hope that he is deported back to Nigeria and then disgraced.

She said:
The face of betrayal. I hope @realdonaldtrump catches you and deports you!!! Deserted band 20mins before concert because he wants to stay in America
