Women World Cup: Nigeria releases final 21-woman list (FULL LIST)

Rasheedat Ajibade and Saheed Adebisi lead the pack as Falconets head coach Christopher Danjuma on Thursday released the final 21-woman list for the 2018 U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.

Other top stars in the team are Monday Gift and Ucheibe as the side prepare to do battle in Group D of the competition with  Haiti, China, and Germany.

The squad is made up of three goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and five strikers.

Nigeria will play their opening game against Germany on the 6th of August before squaring off with Haiti and China on 9th and 13th August in that order.

They are presently in Austria for a 12-day training exercise ahead of the tournament and would leave for France, August 2nd.
